I thought it was a very heartening rally. It is always a good sign if you don't see anyone you know. The weathered faces of the plumbers, electricians, construction workers was somehow very comforting. There was real working class solidarity.
Our little rat of a PM says he isn't worried, but 250,000 is a big rally for Melbourne.
