A consignment of thousands of rubber ducks is expected to wash up any day on the coast of New England - after more than a decade at sea.
These yellow duckies - along with other bathtub toys like beavers, turtles and frogs - escaped by leaping overboard from a Chinese container ship during a storm in 1992.
Heroic Story
People of Melbourne turned out for the rally last evening and the drizzle held off until I was home in front of the fire with my boots off.

How well planned of Mother Earth !

According to a report by the ABC online on August 21, Indonesia's Kopassus chief will visit Australia next month to cement the deal on training and military ties.

Peter Cosgrove, said the resumption of ties with Kopassus was a necessary
part of the regional war against terrorism because the unit was a major counterterrorism force in Indonesia and it could help save lives.

Never mind the number of lives it is helping to extinguish now in Aceh, West Papua and elsewhere in Indonesia.

Some of us are trying to find out when and where these two visitors will be -
probably Canberra at the very least.

It seems to be an appropriate time for a protest -

What do you think? Ideas and suggestions welcome.

Tampa Day Rally tomorrow.
What a day that was, surely it was an act of war ? It must have been. If you send your armed forces onto a ship belonging to another sovereign nation it MUST be an Act of War

Luckily Norway didn't retaliate
